It’s here! It’s here!

Well, it’s finally official. Deathwing has taken flight and Azeroth is a smoking ruin at this point. Or will be whenever the stinking download finishes. The only thing I really don’t like about massively world changing new content is just how long it takes to get to me. I’m not terribly patient about new content, not when it’s been hyped like this has been. I mean, it’s gotten more press time than Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Sarah Palin together! Not to mention is going to be enjoyed by more people than those three ever could be. And I get the feeling your average orc is more intelligent than all of them put together, too. Hmmm…
Back on track, things are going to start heating up out there now that the major patch has finally hit us all. Or, again, will be hitting us when my ISP isn’t so insanely bogged down by all of the other people around me who are downloading the exact same thing.
Enough of my griping, there’s something I really wanted to talk to you guys about today, and that is the serious lack of gold that’s going to be out there soon. See, now that the big patch has dropped, people are going to be freaking out because, unlike me and hopefully you all, they didn’t plan ahead and buy wow gold before now. They figured that they had all the time in the world to get the goods so they put it off. Now, they’re going to pay for it, literally.
See, the supply is going to dry up pretty thoroughly and prices are going to skyrocket between now and December. After that, I imagine that it’s only going to get worse. And the worst part is, some people are going to get so desperate that they will start looking for other sources of gold outside the US.
My only advice to those folks, don’t do it! Even if the prices appear better, there is a greatly increased risk involved. Firstly, you have no way to be sure that you will actually get your gold. Secondly, there’s no way to be sure that you’ll get it safely. People who don’t speak English are really bad at surreptitious delivery and you’d hate to get banned just because you were feeling cheap. Just don’t chance it. A little extra cash is a small price to pay for homegrown safety.
A look at times both here and in the future

Well, it seems that Blizzard has finally made their announcement. I thought for sure that they’d wait until Blizzcon to drop the release date for Cataclysm. I’m really not sure just how their marketing department works. Usually, if a company hosts its own con, they use it as a platform for some serious chest thumping. Not Blizzard, though. I’m sure there will be news and all sorts of fun stuff (this just in: Blizzard has tapped Tenacious D for a concert at Blizzcon. Get your Jack Black goodness on 10/22 and 10/23), but the news may be a little on the skimpy side. I figure they won’t want to steal the thunder from Diablo 3. Here’s hoping for big news on that front! Nothing like a free almost-MMO to bide your time with.
They know what they’re doing, I guess. After all, Blizzard isn’t in the habit of failing. And if they don’t want to overhype the thing, they won’t do it. It’s not like it’s hurt them in the past.
Anyway, it looks like we get Apocalipsized… Apocalipticated…. Apocalipsim… never mind. Cataclysm is coming out on December 7th, so mark your calendars and synchronize your watches. That’s when we get the update and the world gets pulverized.
With that in mind, I think it’s time that we all get out there and buy wow gold You’ll really want to be sure they aren’t including some uber gold buying death ray with the expansion, so you’ll be best to stock up now just in case. Also, even if the code doesn’t specifically prevent it, you know the GMs will be on high alert. They’ll be monitoring things pretty closely in order to make sure there are no exploits or cheating going on, so you know they’ll have eyes out for gold buying too.
Thankfully prices are holding steady right now. With all the anticipation I figured it would start getting ugly but it appears we have a little time before we need to start worrying. Toonstorm is holding steady at $19.48 for 5000 gold, which beats the overall average I’ve found. Plus, it’s delivery in under 30 minutes which is really hard to beat.
Just keep an eye on the prices at your favorite sites. I will be, that’s for sure. I may even make a buy next time. I have some buffing to do and I just don’t want to wait.
I think they’re just buttering us up…

But at least they’re doing it with beer.
That’s right everyone, Brewfest is back for another year of inane stuff that you know you’re going to do no matter how stupid it seems. So sit down, drink up, and enjoy the pointless games and items you get.
You all know the drill, show up, get tokens (last year it was tickets), and get involved in some goofy little quests that can net you some fun stuff. Thing is, this can be to your advantage if you time it right. If you show up at 6:15 AM or PM server time you can watch a little ceremony that will net you a 10% experience buff. Even if you don’t take part in the goofy quests you can use that little buff in your IC runs so you’re ready for the more important stuff that’s coming later. You can also spend your time just getting your character plastered with all of the free booze that’s lying around. Also, one of the quests out there can net you some epic items if you beat the guy who’s bogarting the beer.
WoW just gets weirder by the year.
Another annual festivity has come along as well, this one a little more serious. Harvest Festival has come along and that means it’s time to pay your respects to those who have fallen in the war. While all are considered honored, Uther Lightbringer and Grom Hellscream get the most attention. If you visit your respective side’s tomb you can light a candle and receive a special reward for your tribute. The way there isn’t easy, however, and you’ll need to be sufficiently prepared before you can make the journey.
That’s where buy wow gold comes in. You can’t hope to take on any sort of boss that will drop epic gear or hope to make it to a hero’s tomb without serious opposition. You will need to stock up on essentials and make sure your current gear is up to snuff so that you don’t embarrass yourself out there.
Anyway, get yourself ready to go and take advantage of the oddball festivities. As much as I’m ragging on them I will be too. No point in denying it.
With great gold comes great stuff

So have you all had a chance to check out Ruby Sanctum yet? If not you really need to get on the stick. Signs are pointing to Cataclysm coming out this year, and you don’t want to be left behind.
Why do I say this year? The signs are in the air. Blizzard just revealed the box art for the expansion, so the finished product can’t be too far behind. I figure we’ll find out for sure about when it comes out at Blizzcon.
I must say that I hope it can live up to the hype. They’ve really been plugging the whole thing for some time now, and I’d hate to see it flop because of poor planning. Although, given what they plan on doing to Azeroth, it makes sense that they really want to prepare everyone before hand. After all, you don’t just blow up 11 million people’s favorite world without so much as a how do you do. People might have abandoned in droves if they had.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you obviously haven’t been paying attention over the last year or so. Cataclysm will change the face of the world we’ve been playing in permanently. After the launch there will be no going back. The whole world will be torn apart by Deathwing’s return and it will affect everyone, newbie and veteran alike. That means that new players will never get to experience those first few levels in the idyllic beginning areas. The areas will still be there, but they will have been decimated by the big bad dragon’s opening attack.
The weird thing is that you will be affected by these changes even if you don’t buy the expansion. No one will be spared. While this is causing some outrage amongst the more nostalgic among us, I think it’s a good thing. Those areas had gotten stale over the last few years, and I never went there unless absolutely necessary. Now it will be neat to see just how the attack affects these areas.
There will be tons of new gear, and the level cap will be raised to 90. This means that we’ll need to buy wow gold in abundance to make the cut. Otherwise you can count yourself dragon food.
You may as well keep buying. They aren’t stopping any time soon.

So, that whole thing I said about Blizzard being completely spent as far as updates go? Yeah, they appear to want to make a liar out of me. If you haven’t found out about it yet, you need to get out from under that rock, reactivate your account, and buy wow gold so you’re ready to take it on.
The premise is a good one. It seems that part of what’s been holding the Scourge at bay over the last ten thousand years has been an alliance formed by the five dragonflights that live in Azeroth. This alliance, the Wyrmrest Accord, ensures that each of the major flights is ready to preserve all life on Azeroth and combat the Sourge at every turn.
The whole thing has been spearheaded by the red dragons in Wyrmrest Temple and the Ruby Sanctum. There has been some strife among the flights as time has marched on, however. The black dragons were found to be harboring twilight dragon eggs (Deathwing’s creations, bad mojo all around) and no one was too pleased about this corruption in the midst of their war against the Scourge. The reds were too busy with the Scourge and the blue dragons at the time to deal with it, so they “accidentally” mentioned it, through various channels, to the Council of Six. This led to a nice big raid and some human heroes destroyed the eggs and defeated Sartharion in the Obsidian Sanctum. No one made much of a fuss over this, and the black’s complaints fell on deaf ears.
Fast forward to present time. Now, the halls of the Ruby Sanctum stand silent. No word has been heard from them in some time, and people are starting to get worried. No one can seem to get in touch with the red’s, and there really doesn’t seem to be anyone there to answer the call anyway. And just to heap it on, there’s a clutch of red eggs in that sanctum! Basically, if something isn’t done the best stronghold in all of Northrend will be lost to the Scourge if no one goes in and braves the dangers.
Enter us.
I’ve been checking the whole thing out, and it’s been a blast. I’m all about new areas, especially when they come with a great story, or at least great loot.
If I were you, I’d buy wow gold ASAP and get in there.
Newest patch info! What, there isn’t one?

Seriously, that’s how I’ve felt this last month. After the initial hubbub from the tournament finally settled down, I was left wondering what they were going to hit me with next.
I must admit, after everything they’ve been throwing at us for the last few months, I am well and truly spent.
But, at long last they’ve allowed us a moment of peace, like an oasis in a sandstorm. The eye of the brightly colored hurricane at last settles over us and we can spend a little time just playing for a while, rather than having something new jump at us or nerf our bandwidth when it starts to download.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the content. I’m just kinda glad for the temporary reprieve. It gives me a chance to actually enjoy the game before they decide to launch Cataclysm. As much as I’m looking forward to that, I still have a lot of WotLK that I want to play.
The really good news with all of this is that the market is starting to calm down too. Suppliers are slowly rebuilding their stockpiles and demand is slipping just enough that prices are starting to even out as well. To use the site from last time as a comparison point, now 1000 gold is down at $5.62 at Toonstorm.com.
This means that the next few weeks or so will be the best time to buy wow gold that we’re going to get. Prices are going to level out and then start to fluctuate based on market strain from new buyers. This means that they’ll drop and hit a plateau sometime in the next couple of weeks. You’ll see some movement up or down depending on all sorts of factors, and some places will undoubtedly start to run sales and discounts to keep people buying during the summer months.
This is all, of course, assuming Blizzard doesn’t blindside us with a massive new update that shakes everything up. Kind of unlikely given what they released these last few months, though. I mean really, what can you do in WotLK after the Lich King is dead? You’re already level 80 at that point (and I think it’s pretty obvious they won’t raise the level cap until Cataclysm), so you’re down to PvP or running the same instances over and over again. It will be a great chance to really load up on gold and the best gear so that you’re ready for the next big thing.
Good luck!
Good news in gold buying land

Hey everybody out there!
I hope the newest patch has been keeping you all thoroughly entertained. I haven’t been able to jump into it just yet, but I plan on it as soon as possible. These last couple of levels just take forever.
Turns out those guys at Blizzard had one last little trick to throw our direction. They’ve managed to create a duplicate world, minus the instance portals, for the purpose of holding a massive tournament. And when I say massive I really mean it. This thing will start on the regional level where they’ll be holding 3v3 battles with a first place prize of $15,000! If you’re looking to buy wow gold, that’ll cover you for a good long while.
Next they move the whole thing on to the global level. It’s the same format, but you’re playing against the best players from around the world. But if you can come out on top, it’s $75,000 to you and your team.
Don’t worry about being outclassed by anyone either. In-game characters don’t matter at all. They give you a level 80 character and as much cash as you need to buy all of the gear you could possibly want. Running low? Grab some more! You can even get things like honor trinkets and epic drop items to load yourself down with.
The good news is, none of this should affect pricing in the least. This is one of those updates that lets the gold buying industry settle down a little. No new stuff that causes runs on gold means that supply can start to rebuild.
The bad news is the last few patches have really done a number on the existing supply. Prices have gone up just a little bit as a result. Toonstorm.com hasn’t been affected as badly as others, thankfully. They’re only up about a buck and a half to 7.99 for 1000 gold, which, compared to other sites, is really good.
This is going to allow us some time to get our feet back under us. Hopefully things will settle down even more so that prices can stabilize and it becomes a matter of one site undercutting another.
Anyway, that’s all folks!
News flash! Now get out there and buy!

Hope things have been keeping everyone out there nice and busy. I couldn’t help but notice that Blizzard has been moving things along nicely lately. These guys just don’t take days off from what I can tell.
What I’m talking about some of you have probably already been playing with for the last couple of weeks. The 3.3.3 patch went live on March 23rd and has brought a lot of new fun stuff for us to play with.
The major feature that was added doesn’t affect everyone just yet. At least, not until you hit 80. As is expected since they’ve kinda come to the end of what WotLK has to offer, they’re having to plug a few things in to keep people interested until Cataclysm drops. That means more toys for the 80′s out there, including this awesome new feature – Random Battlegrounds. It’s a PvP only sort of gig, but it adds a little extra challenge for anyone who’s gotten bored with the same old, same old fights. The idea is remarkably simple – you queue up for a Random BG, which means you have no time to prepare or any idea what to expect when you get there. It should add a little extra challenge because everyone knows the best strategies for the existing maps, and can usually coordinate before going in. This tosses that in favor of your ability to improvise based on whatever the server gives you.
They also took a step that I wish they had earlier. They increased the range of most buffs (excluding the really good ones like pallys) from 45 yards to 100. this is a major plus for groups that tend to get split up (I’m thinking Leroy Jenkins here).
This is another one of those times where I can see tons of Chinese gold farmers coming out of the woodwork. It seems to happen every single time a patch drops. It’s about ten times worse after an expansion hits the shelves, so I’m grateful for that. It makes it easier to sort them out.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell where these guys are from, so I figure I’ll stick with my old favorites like Toonstorm. It’s just way safer to buy wow gold from those you know during patch time.
Take it easy and stay safe out there. Things will hopefully settle down a little over the next couple of months while the guys at Blizzard are working on Cataclysm.
Review time at the USA wow gold blog

Great news everyone! A member of my guild has been looking to buy some gold lately, but hasn’t known how to go about it. He’s been afraid to buy from just anywhere because he remembers the chinese gold farmer stings that went down after 3.1 dropped. Plus, it’s not one of those things you can ask the group about in chat. “duz neone no were i kin by gold?!!?!? Yeah, that would go over well with the GMs…. Finally, one day he emailed me wondering if I had any advice on how to go about it. He figured I was the safest to ask, since I’m not picky about that sort of thing.
As you can imagine, I had all sorts of advice for him to work with. So from there he emails me with a few sites he’s found that seem okay. I take a few minutes to look them over. I scrapped one of them because it’s based in Beijing. While I have no problem with China per se, I just don’t think that they take the same care that US based companies do. So that one was out.
From there I advised him to check the outside reviews for the two sites. He got back with me about an hour later and told me that he’d been googling the two sites and neither one was coming up with the best reviews. He just wasn’t comfortable buying from either one.
I figured I’d give him a good site so that he wouldn’t be too discouraged by the whole process. I sent him the link to Toonstorm.com and let him know that I’ve had a lot of luck with them before. He replied and thanked me for the link and said he’d get back with me once he’d finished the order.
I got another email about an hour later saying that he’d had the gold for about 30 minutes. Everything went smoothly, from the confirmation call to the actual delivery (which he told me was about 15 minutes early). He thanked me profusely and we set up a time to meet in game to make a run later. He was glad that he decided to buy wow gold this time around.
Awesome deal, and another great review.
Catch you all later.
3.3.2, WoW gold, and you
Posted in: Proven USA wow gold Sites by wowusgold on March 09, 2010
Hey everybody! Looks like the good folks at Blizzard weren’t quite done giving us awesome stuff with the last patch. Now the final portions of the Icecrown Citadel have been added and the whole thing looks amazingly epic!
With all of the new areas that have been opened up by this most recent patch everyone out there and their dogs are looking to get the best gear available so they can make the trip to drop the Lich King. Getting near him is tough enough, though. Nothing like another dragon to spice things up in Azeroth, right?
Anyway, I was more than a little worried that prices would go completely out of control with the two major patches back to back like they were. The GMs are watching like hawks for folks like us who prefer to not waste our time and money grinding gold their way. That makes everybody who delivers and farms the gold jumpier (is that a word? If not it is now) than they usually are. And prices did go up most places, but not as bad as I was worried about. The best was at Toonstorm. They really tried to avoid making our lives miserable when Blizzard was making us so happy.
Prices there are really good right now, so I’d advise everyone to go make a buy if you’ve been planning on it. Fifteen bucks is all it will take to get you 2000 gold, which is a nice little supplement. Of course, it gets to be a better deal the more you buy, so don’t limit yourself if you don’t feel the need. And one thing that I’ve always liked about them is that I’ve never had to worry about safety. Between the money-back guarantee and the great people that they use, every buy is easy and safer than any I’ve ever been able to find anywhere else.
Which is why I’m going to sign off a little early this time around. My guild is planning an IC run in about an hour and I want to have plenty of time to get my buy in before I have to meet them.
Take it easy!
