So, that whole thing I said about Blizzard being completely spent as far as updates go? Yeah, they appear to want to make a liar out of me. If you haven’t found out about it yet, you need to get out from under that rock, reactivate your account, and buy gold so you’re ready to take it on.
The premise is a good one. It seems that part of what’s been holding the Scourge at bay over the last ten thousand years has been an alliance formed by the five dragonflights that live in Azeroth. This alliance, the Wyrmrest Accord, ensures that each of the major flights is ready to preserve all life on Azeroth and combat the Sourge at every turn.
The whole thing has been spearheaded by the red dragons in Wyrmrest Temple and the Ruby Sanctum. There has been some strife among the flights as time has marched on, however. The black dragons were found to be harboring twilight dragon eggs (Deathwing’s creations, bad mojo all around) and no one was too pleased about this corruption in the midst of their war against the Scourge. The reds were too busy with teh Scourge and the blue dragons at the time to deal with it, so they “accidentally” mentioned it, through various channels, to the Council of Six. This led to a nice big raid and some human heroes destroyed the eggs and defeated Sartharion in the Obsidian Sanctum. No one made much of a fuss over this, and the black’s complaints fell on deaf ears.
Fast forward to present time. Now, the halls of the Ruby Sanctum stand silent. No word has been heard from them in some time, and people are starting to get worried. No one can seem to get in touch with the red’s, and there really doesn’t seem to be anyone there to answer the call anyway. And just to heap it on, there’s a clutch of red eggs in that sanctum! Basically, if something isn’t done the best stronghold in all of Northrend will be lost to the Scourge if no one goes in and braves the dangers.
Enter us.
I’ve been checking the whole thing out, and it’s been a blast. I’m all about new areas, especially when they come with a great story, or at least great loot.
If I were you, I’d buy gold ASAP and get in there.
Newest patch info! What, there isn’t one?

Seriously, that’s how I’ve felt this last month. After the initial hubbub from the tournament finally settled down, I was left wondering what they were going to hit me with next.
I must admit, after everything they’ve been throwing at us for the last few months, I am well and truly spent.
But, at long last they’ve allowed us a moment of peace, like an oasis in a sandstorm. The eye of the brightly colored hurricane at last settles over us and we can spend a little time just playing for a while, rather than having something new jump at us or nerf our bandwidth when it starts to download.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the content. I’m just kinda glad for the temporary reprieve. It gives me a chance to actually enjoy the game before they decide to launch Cataclysm. As much as I’m looking forward to that, I still have a lot of WotLK that I want to play.
The really good news with all of this is that the market is starting to calm down too. Suppliers are slowly rebuilding their stockpiles and demand is slipping just enough that prices are starting to even out as well. To use the site from last time as a comparison point, now 1000 gold is down at $5.62 at Toonstorm.com.
This means that the next few weeks or so will be the best time to buy gold that we’re going to get. Prices are going to level out and then start to fluctuate based on market strain from new buyers. This means that they’ll drop and hit a plateau sometime in the next couple of weeks. You’ll see some movement up or down depending on all sorts of factors, and some places will undoubtedly start to run sales and discounts to keep people buying during the summer months.
This is all, of course, assuming Blizzard doesn’t blindside us with a massive new update that shakes everything up. Kind of unlikely given what they released these last few months, though. I mean really, what can you do in WotLK after the Lich King is dead? You’re already level 80 at that point (and I think it’s pretty obvious they won’t raise the level cap until Cataclysm), so you’re down to PvP or running the same instances over and over again. It will be a great chance to really load up on gold and the best gear so that you’re ready for the next big thing.
Good luck!
Good news in gold buying land

Hey everybody out there!
I hope the newest patch has been keeping you all thoroughly entertained. I haven’t been able to jump into it just yet, but I plan on it as soon as possible. These last couple of levels just take forever.
Turns out those guys at Blizzard had one last little trick to throw our direction. They’ve managed to create a duplicate world, minus the instance portals, for the purpose of holding a massive tournament. And when I say massive I really mean it. This thing will start on the regional level where they’ll be holding 3v3 battles with a first place prize of $15,000! If you’re looking to buy gold, that’ll cover you for a good long while.
Next they move the whole thing on to the global level. It’s the same format, but you’re playing against the best players from around the world. But if you can come out on top, it’s $75,000 to you and your team.
Don’t worry about being outclassed by anyone either. In-game characters don’t matter at all. They give you a level 80 character and as much cash as you need to buy all of the gear you could possibly want. Running low? Grab some more! You can even get things like honor trinkets and epic drop items to load yourself down with.
The good news is, none of this should affect pricing in the least. This is one of those updates that lets the gold buying industry settle down a little. No new stuff that causes runs on gold means that supply can start to rebuild.
The bad news is the last few patches have really done a number on the existing supply. Prices have gone up just a little bit as a result. Toonstorm.com hasn’t been affected as badly as others, thankfully. They’re only up about a buck and a half to 7.99 for 1000 gold, which, compared to other sites, is really good.
This is going to allow us some time to get our feet back under us. Hopefully things will settle down even more so that prices can stabilize and it becomes a matter of one site undercutting another.
Anyway, that’s all folks!
News flash! Now get out there and buy!

Hope things have been keeping everyone out there nice and busy. I couldn’t help but notice that Blizzard has been moving things along nicely lately. These guys just don’t take days off from what I can tell.
What I’m talking about some of you have probably already been playing with for the last couple of weeks. The 3.3.3 patch went live on March 23rd and has brought a lot of new fun stuff for us to play with.
The major feature that was added doesn’t affect everyone just yet. At least, not until you hit 80. As is expected since they’ve kinda come to the end of what WotLK has to offer, they’re having to plug a few things in to keep people interested until Cataclysm drops. That means more toys for the 80’s out there, including this awesome new feature - Random Battlegrounds. It’s a PvP only sort of gig, but it adds a little extra challenge for anyone who’s gotten bored with the same old, same old fights. The idea is remarkably simple - you queue up for a Random BG, which means you have no time to prepare or any idea what to expect when you get there. It should add a little extra challenge because everyone knows the best strategies for the existing maps, and can usually coordinate before going in. This tosses that in favor of your ability to improvise based on whatever the server gives you.
They also took a step that I wish they had earlier. They increased the range of most buffs (excluding the really good ones like pallys) from 45 yards to 100. this is a major plus for groups that tend to get split up (I’m thinking Leroy Jenkins here).
This is another one of those times where I can see tons of Chinese gold farmers coming out of the woodwork. It seems to happen every single time a patch drops. It’s about ten times worse after an expansion hits the shelves, so I’m grateful for that. It makes it easier to sort them out.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell where these guys are from, so I figure I’ll stick with my old favorites like Toonstorm. It’s just way safer to buy wow gold from those you know during patch time.
Take it easy and stay safe out there. Things will hopefully settle down a little over the next couple of months while the guys at Blizzard are working on Cataclysm.
Review time at the USA wow gold blog

Great news everyone! A member of my guild has been looking to buy some gold lately, but hasn’t known how to go about it. He’s been afraid to buy from just anywhere because he remembers the chinese gold farmer stings that went down after 3.1 dropped. Plus, it’s not one of those things you can ask the group about in chat. “duz neone no were i kin by gold?!!?!? Yeah, that would go over well with the GMs…. Finally, one day he emailed me wondering if I had any advice on how to go about it. He figured I was the safest to ask, since I’m not picky about that sort of thing.
As you can imagine, I had all sorts of advice for him to work with. So from there he emails me with a few sites he’s found that seem okay. I take a few minutes to look them over. I scrapped one of them because it’s based in Beijing. While I have no problem with China per se, I just don’t think that they take the same care that US based companies do. So that one was out.
From there I advised him to check the outside reviews for the two sites. He got back with me about an hour later and told me that he’d been googling the two sites and neither one was coming up with the best reviews. He just wasn’t comfortable buying from either one.
I figured I’d give him a good site so that he wouldn’t be too discouraged by the whole process. I sent him the link to Toonstorm.com and let him know that I’ve had a lot of luck with them before. He replied and thanked me for the link and said he’d get back with me once he’d finished the order.
I got another email about an hour later saying that he’d had the gold for about 30 minutes. Everything went smoothly, from the confirmation call to the actual delivery (which he told me was about 15 minutes early). He thanked me profusely and we set up a time to meet in game to make a run later. He was glad that he decided to buy gold this time around.
Awesome deal, and another great review.
Catch you all later.
3.3.2, WoW gold, and you

Hey everybody! Looks like the good folks at Blizzard weren’t quite done giving us awesome stuff with the last patch. Now the final portions of the Icecrown Citadel have been added and the whole thing looks amazingly epic!
With all of the new areas that have been opened up by this most recent patch everyone out there and their dogs are looking to get the best gear available so they can make the trip to drop the Lich King. Getting near him is tough enough, though. Nothing like another dragon to spice things up in Azeroth, right?
Anyway, I was more than a little worried that prices would go completely out of control with the two major patches back to back like they were. The GMs are watching like hawks for folks like us who prefer to not waste our time and money grinding gold their way. That makes everybody who delivers and farms the gold jumpier (is that a word? If not it is now) than they usually are. And prices did go up most places, but not as bad as I was worried about. The best was at Toonstorm. They really tried to avoid making our lives miserable when Blizzard was making us so happy.
Prices there are really good right now, so I’d advise everyone to go make a buy if you’ve been planning on it. Fifteen bucks is all it will take to get you 2000 gold, which is a nice little supplement. Of course, it gets to be a better deal the more you buy, so don’t limit yourself if you don’t feel the need. And one thing that I’ve always liked about them is that I’ve never had to worry about safety. Between the money-back guarantee and the great people that they use, every buy is easy and safer than any I’ve ever been able to find anywhere else.
Which is why I’m going to sign off a little early this time around. My guild is planning an IC run in about an hour and I want to have plenty of time to get my buy in before I have to meet them.
Take it easy!
A serious note when buying wow gold

Hello again folks! I hope things have been going well for everyone since I last posted.
Today, I’m going to briefly talk about the tragedy that occurred in Haiti. We’ve all heard about the earthquake that has pretty much destroyed the whole country by now. Looting is rampant, and the survivors don’t have enough food or medical care to make it through. The governments of the world are doing what the can (especially the good ol’ U S of A), but it’s slow going for everyone.
That’s why I’m proud to announce that Toonstorm.com has started a relief fund for the quake victims! Five percent of every purchase will be put towards the fund, and they’re hoping to raise $7000 at least. It may not seem like much, but for a small business, that’s a lot of dough to raise.
Here’s where we come in. I’ve told you about Toonstorm before, and we know that it’s a great place to buy wow gold. They’ve had fantastic reviews all along, and this only raises my respect for them another level. Prices are really good like always, so now is the time to buy. I know a lot of you have been thinking about it, but haven’t yet tried it out. I say go ahead! Even if you don’t really need the gold, it’ll be an easy boost to your stash and you’ll also be contributing to a good cause. And if you really do need the gold to make things work for your character, you get a chance to help others by helping yourself!
I’m sure most of us were going to make a buy before long anyway, so why not do it now, while we have a chance to help some folks in need? I plan on making a buy of 10,000 gold today. It’s a lot, but I can use the in-game cash, and I really like helping charities in any way I can.
Of course, the best way to buy wow gold is to do it in small increments, so this is actually going to be about 4 different purchases. I don’t mind, I’m just glad that someone is helping.
So, hat’s off to Toonstorm.com for showing that they are good US citizens!
How to buy safe usa wow gold
Posted in: buy wow gold by admin on January 11, 2010
Hello again everyone.
I hope everyone has been enjoying all of the fun stuff that the 3.3 patch has sent our direction. I know I’ve really been pushing for level 80 so I can tackle the Lich King myself. I hear the drops can be amazing.
Of course, with the new patch out, there are more and more people joining WoW. That means more and more like-minded folks who want to save a little time and buy wow gold just like me. With that in mind, I’d like to give a few tips on how to buy gold safely to protect your money and your character.
There are a few simple do’s and don’t’s that you should keep in mind when making a gold purchase.
Don’t buy a lot of gold at one time. There is nothing more obvious to a GM than a level 12 character suddenly loaded down with thousands of gold. These people built one of the most popular games of all time, they aren’t stupid.
Instead, buy the gold in small amounts over time. A couple hundred here, a hundred there… that sort of thing doesn’t get noticed because it looks more like a more experienced friend gifting some cash to a newbie. It takes longer, but is way safer.
Don’t start talking about what you’re doing, especially in the chat. GM’s monitor the channel constantly for this sort of thing, and even if they miss it, someone else won’t and they will happily report you. If you feel the need to talk about it, start a blog and leave out your character name.
Don’t trust outfits outside the US. We all know what happened to the Chinese gold farmers (and those who used their services) after the 3.1 patch. They seem to have all the good deals, but they tend to be sloppy and that puts you at risk of suspension or banning. There are plenty of places in the US to buy wow gold. Try to keep it local.
Do look for a money-back guarantee. Any place that’s willing to forfeit their dough if something goes wrong is going to be infinitely more careful about delivery than one that isn’t. Toonstorm.com has one, and they take it really seriously.
Do use common sense. Deals that look too good to be true usually are. It’s safer to put your money in a company you know and trust. Places with a good reputation are hard to find in this business, but are well worth it once you do.
Getting reacquainted with WoW gold
Posted in: Proven USA wow gold Sites by admin on December 08, 2009
Hey everyone!
I’m really sorry I’ve been out of touch for a while. Things at the firm really got busy and kept me away, both from the blog and from Wow. I even let my account go for a while because of all the work. I’m back on track, though, and have been able to reopen my account. You have no idea just how good Ulduar looks after not having seen it for six months.
There have been a lot of little changes since I left, it seems. New gear, repairing my old stuff, it’s all costing a lot! I don’t have enough stashed away, even in my alt, to keep up at this point. I’m going to need some serious gold to make the cut now.
My only problem with that is that I don’t have the time to spend mining and watching the auction house. I’m still busy enough at work that grinding that amount of gold would take all the fun out of the game. Of course, I already know the solution. I wouldn’t have made this blog otherwise, right?
So, the thing to do is spend a little of my cash somewhere for gold. The face of that industry has changed since I’ve been out, too. Despite the bannings of gold farmers I mentioned last time, there seem to be more places than ever to buy wow gold. Prices seem to have come down industry wide, probably due to the increased competition. The trick is to find a place that will deliver the goods safely and securely. Given the equality of pricing, I’m going to narrow my search a little so that I’m only looking at home grown sites. No sense shipping my money overseas when people here need it more.
One place I’ve mentioned here before is Toonstorm.com. The service I got from them the last few times has been superb, with quick delivery times and 100% American support. Since I’m just getting back into the swing of things, I think I’ll go back to them instead of risking my money on an unknown newcomer.
So, I’ve placed an order. Pricing, like I said earlier, is really good right now. Although I could afford it, I think I’ll try to fly under the radar. Seven grand should be enough to give me a boost, at least until I’m able to get a few raids done. About 10 minutes after finalizing the order, I got a call from someone obviously here in the states (ie: no thick accent) and they let me know my order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I logged in about 15 minutes later and got a message to pick up my gold almost immediately!
Now I’m ready to go! It’s good to be back in the game, and the edge I have now should put me back up to par in no time. This is another major thumbs up for Toonstorm. See you next time!
Buy USA WoW Gold Post 3.1 Patch
Posted in: safe wow gold by admin on April 28, 2009
Hey folks!
I’ve been enjoying the heck out of the 3.1 patch - Ulduar is probaly one of the best additions to the game yet imho, but I wanted to touch on buying wow gold in this blog in a Post 3.1 patch world. I pride myself in keeping up with most of wow gold websites and following prices as best as I can. I have noticed after the 3.1 patch lots of farmers got banned and there was a pretty stiff incline in prices for about a week or two - that’s rectified a little bit now but I’m still hearing reports of several farm outlets getting hit by the banhammer.
Because of this you should be watching out who you buy from. Although its very very very rare that a customer or a person who buys wow gold actually gets banned - the delays from the supplier in getting it to you are what are cause for concern. American wow gold selling companies have FAR less difficulty getting banned and are, in turn, much more likely to be able to get you your order on time. I always make recommendations based on the current climate, so with this in mind, I’m going to suggest This Site. They’re a 100% U.S. based wow gold selling website that we’ve bought from and documented on this website numerous times. Each time has been a good experience and shown us that buying American is the best when it comes to WoW gold.
Prices are still low and pretty stable right now, if anything in the market changes rest assured I’ll be on top of it for the next blog. Thanks for reading!
