It’s here! It’s here!

Well, it’s finally official. Deathwing has taken flight and Azeroth is a smoking ruin at this point. Or will be whenever the stinking download finishes. The only thing I really don’t like about massively world changing new content is just how long it takes to get to me. I’m not terribly patient about new content, not when it’s been hyped like this has been. I mean, it’s gotten more press time than Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Sarah Palin together! Not to mention is going to be enjoyed by more people than those three ever could be. And I get the feeling your average orc is more intelligent than all of them put together, too. Hmmm…

Back on track, things are going to start heating up out there now that the major patch has finally hit us all. Or, again, will be hitting us when my ISP isn’t so insanely bogged down by all of the other people around me who are downloading the exact same thing.

Enough of my griping, there’s something I really wanted to talk to you guys about today, and that is the serious lack of gold that’s going to be out there soon. See, now that the big patch has dropped, people are going to be freaking out because, unlike me and hopefully you all, they didn’t plan ahead and buy wow gold before now. They figured that they had all the time in the world to get the goods so they put it off. Now, they’re going to pay for it, literally.

See, the supply is going to dry up pretty thoroughly and prices are going to skyrocket between now and December. After that, I imagine that it’s only going to get worse. And the worst part is, some people are going to get so desperate that they will start looking for other sources of gold outside the US.

My only advice to those folks, don’t do it! Even if the prices appear better, there is a greatly increased risk involved. Firstly, you have no way to be sure that you will actually get your gold. Secondly, there’s no way to be sure that you’ll get it safely. People who don’t speak English are really bad at surreptitious delivery and you’d hate to get banned just because you were feeling cheap. Just don’t chance it. A little extra cash is a small price to pay for homegrown safety.
